My journey

In 2012, after twelve years of classical and modern jazz dance, I embarked on a journey into yoga in New York. It was my first encounter with a dynamic practice that allowed me to push my limits with kindness.

For four years, I lived and practiced in New York, Portland, and Melbourne, exploring the various aspects of yoga and developing a method that became my own.

Convinced of the benefits of this practice on the subtle and energetic body, I underwent Vinyasa training in 2016 in New York, followed by Ashtanga Yoga training in Mysore, the birthplace of Ashtanga Yoga. Remaining a perpetual student, I continue to pursue further training in India every year, the birthplace of yoga.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I primarily teach Hatha Flow, a fusion of Hatha Yoga and Vinyasa. A class focused on precise alignment combined with dynamic and fluid movements synchronized with breath. Designed to tone the body, enhance flexibility, and improve mobility.

Classes are typically built around a specific theme with special attention to details, creating a safe and inspiring space for yogis of all levels to explore the depths of their practice.

Inspired by the physical conditioning of circus artists, students are often encouraged to work in pairs. Physical adjustments are frequent, allowing for a better understanding of postures and movement.

Classes are tailored to each student's experience and energy, guiding them compassionately through their practice and towards more complex asanas.

why Yoga ?

The word Yoga means Union.

To be united, connected, whole.

By becoming aware of one's body, by controlling one's breath, we bring balance and alignment to the physical body which impacts the mind.

Mental clarity sets in and gives way to tranquility of the mind.

Regular practice of Yoga leads to a heightened quality of self-listening and self-understanding.

The experience of Yoga is absolute harmony.
